About Me/Location.

My name is Janet and my husband's name is Ivan. We have two children. I have been a full-time mother since I gave up work in London before my daughter was born and I have lots of time and energy to devote to children.

Our farm covers 600 acres and we grow wheat, barley, sugar beet and some vegetables. We also grow lots of vegetables and fruit in our kitchen garden. Children love to see the goats, chickens and pigs and to watch the tractors at work.

There are some lovely tracks for Nature Walks and lots of nice places to picnic; if we're lucky we see hares, rabbits, pheasants, partridges, deer and lots of small birds and animals.

Our farmhouse is in the pretty village of Risby, a few hundred yards from Risby Primary School and Play Group and within a mile of Cherry Trees School. We are 3 miles from Bury St Edmunds, with easy access from the A14.
